East Hartford, CT, July 21, 2022 – As the Business Advisors and staff of the Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC) continue to address the needs of existing and new small businesses in the state, the staff has chosen one colleague as a standout contributor to the program. This recognition comes as CTSBDC advisors address requests for assistance significantly higher than pre-pandemic levels of requests. With the entire team working diligently to assist on needs such as financing, marketing, business strategy refinement, and starting a business, Denise Whitford was named State Star for 2022.
