The completely redesigned website offers visitors richer insight into the CTSBDC’s value proposition and new options to register for business advising.
[East Hartford, Connecticut, February 14, 2018] – Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC) has launched its revamped website.
The redesigned website has a fresh, uncluttered design with enhanced content focused on demonstrating CTSBDC’s mission to help Connecticut’s small business owners and entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. The website is located at the same address: www.ctsbdc.com.
The website offers some new features:
- New options to register for business advising. Visitors now have 3 options to sign up for business advising based on their business needs: (1) new to business, (2) existing businesses, or (3) individuals who just need help registering their business with the State of Connecticut. These options will help business owners get to the resources they need faster.
- Online training courses. The website now offers 20 free, online courses in the topics in accounting/finance, HR, legal, management, marketing, and start-up. Two of the courses are available in Spanish.
- More information on access to capital. Access to capital remains a key service area for CTSBDC. The website now offers more insight into how CTSBDC can help businesses access capital, and how CTSBDC can collaborate with funders.
The website features images of CTSBDC clients from across the state, and includes news and press releases, client success stories, advisor biographies, and annual impact reports.
“We are excited to launch this new site. It provides visitors with a fresh look, easy navigation and reflects our current program offerings. Additionally, it unveils our new business advising intake process. This updated process will help us serve Connecticut’s businesses more efficiently and will help entrepreneurs get to the resources they need faster,” says Emily Carter, State Director of CTSBDC.
CTSBDC’s new website will be updated regularly with client success stories and other news. Visitors are encouraged to explore the website and subscribe to the newsletter for business tips and announcements at www.ctsbdc.com.
