CT SBDC Client Featured in CT Magazine for Its Innovative Approach to Alzheimer’s Treatment

12/27/2017

NeuroEM Therapeutics Inc. has developed a device to help prevent and treat Alzheimer’s Disease using electromagnetic waves.

Patty Meagher, CTSBDC Technology Business Advisor, helped Gary Arendish (founder, NeuroEM) and  Eric Knight (founder, Remarkable Technologies) secure the seed funding for the safety trials that are currently underway.  As is often the case, Patty acted as a neutral 3rd party, helping both investors and entrepreneurs come to an agreement for equity funding.  It is often important to have someone at the table with no ‘skin in the game,’ someone who is trusted and is looking to help create a win/win for all parties.

CT Magazine highlighted NeuroEM Therapeutics Inc. online and in its January 2018 print issue in the article “Can Electromagnetic Waves Treat Alzheimer’s?” written by Erik Ofgang.
