Looking for a more flexible and predictable way to offer health benefits to your employees?
Access Health CT’s BusinessPlus platform gives Connecticut employers the ability to compare traditional Small Group coverage with a CHOICE Arrangement, also known as an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement, or ICHRA. For eligible Connecticut businesses with 50 or fewer employees, a new state tax credit may provide up to $1,000 per covered employee, per year when a qualifying CHOICE Arrangement is offered through BusinessPlus.
Join John Carbone, Director of Small Business, Broker Support & Product Development at Access Health CT, for a practical conversation about how BusinessPlus can help employers evaluate their health benefit options.
John and his team bring more than 30 years of health insurance experience and works directly with Connecticut employers, brokers, carriers, and industry partners to develop solutions that help businesses manage healthcare costs while expanding employee choice. During this session, John will cover:
- How CHOICE Arrangements and ICHRAs work
- How employers can establish a defined contribution toward employee coverage
- How employees can select individual health plans based on their own needs
- How BusinessPlus compares with traditional Small Group coverage
- Who may qualify for Connecticut’s new Small Business ICHRA Tax Credit
- Potential cost saving opportunities for employers
- What information is needed to evaluate whether BusinessPlus is right for your organization
- How Access Health CT and certified brokers can help employers through the process
Whether you currently offer health insurance, are facing a significant renewal increase, or are considering offering benefits for the first time, this session will help you better understand the options available to your business. Bring your questions and learn how BusinessPlus may provide another way to offer meaningful health benefits while giving your business greater control over its healthcare budget.
