2022 CTSBDC Annual Report: 3,300 Clients Assisted

We are delighted to have had the opportunity to assist a significant number of small businesses and entrepreneurs in Connecticut in 2022. A total of 3,300 individuals sought our guidance and advice in their pursuit of starting, growing, or steering their businesses toward success, and we couldn’t be happier to support them on their journeys.

Our impact in 2022 was a source of pride, as we dedicated 12,866 hours to advising, creating 536 jobs. Additionally, we actively contributed to the launch of 191 new businesses, facilitating an impressive $87 million in debt and equity investment for our clients. Acknowledging their efforts, 97% of surveyed clients expressed satisfaction with the SCTSBDC advisors.

Constantine J. Alleyne, a prominent figure in her field, successfully established the Civilian Corrections Academy, leveraging her two decades of experience in the correctional industry and strong dedication to service.
